“Jurassic Expedition” is paleontology field school sponsored by the Schiele Museum of Natural History. This dinosaur dig takes place in the high desert of Central Wyoming, where participants will excavate a juvenile Diplodocus!
Participants will learn about field excavation techniques, sedimentology, and the paleontology of the area. In Florissant, Colorado; Kemmerer, Wyoming; and Thermopolis, Wyoming we will uncover fossils never before seen by human eyes.
In addition to the paleontological excavation, participants will see museums, historic sites, wildlife, and wide-open spaces!
